On the 24th of June 2026 the first lunch talk took place. The SPRING Student Gabriel Abedo reflected on his visit at the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in May 2026 and shared his impressions with SPRING fellow students and lecturers. The informal meeting created a space for exchange and discussion, offering insights into current projects and perspectives from the forum. While enjoying lunch together the attendees ventilated topics brought up by Gabriel, for example affordable housing, sustainable cities or community-led planning.
Attending events like this international conference can be a powerful experience for emerging urban planners. Thanks again to Gabriel Abedo for sharing these insights from WUF13 in Baku. It is always valuable to see how students engage with global conversations around urban development and planning!
