Dr. Beier shared his experiences securing funding from the DFG Walter Benjamin Programme after completing his PhD, offering valuable insights into the programme’s significance for his academic journey and career development. In addition to discussing his research in diverse Global South contexts, he also guided us through his pivotal opportunities and decision-making moments that shaped his career path.
